Vesta Main Store (Vesta 1)

The Thao Dien area has recently become a hot topic as a new tourist area for travelers to Ho Chi Minh City. It is an area with a stylish, Western-style cityscape where many Western expats come and go.

Recently, you can see many souvenir shops there, but “Vesta” introduced here is the largest souvenir shop among them.

How to get to Vesta Store 1 (Main Store)

The Thao Dien area, where “Vesta” is located, can be reached in 20 minutes by taxi from the Municipal Theatre (Opera House) in downtown Ho Chi Minh City. This area, known as Thao Dien, is characterized by its westernized streets where many wealthy Vietnamese and Western expats live, and there are many shops run by Westerners.

Differences from Vesta Store 2

Vesta also has a store along Thao Dien St., the main street of Thao Dien, but this is a branch and the floor area is smaller. All the products available at Store 2, introduced below, are also available at the main store, so please visit the main store first.

Introduction to the interior and floors of Vesta

Vesta Main Store is a large-scale souvenir shop in Ho Chi Minh City, where there are many small miscellaneous goods stores. There are many clothing accessories spread across the floors, so it is best to take a look around first.

From small items to accessories. Souvenir goods you can buy at Vesta

The souvenir goods you can buy at Vesta Main Store are truly diverse. From so-called cheap goods like postcards and magnets to stylish accessories you’ll want to wear every day, and mugs and T-shirts printed with traditional Vietnamese illustrations, they have almost all the souvenir goods that travelers are looking for.

The prices are also reasonable compared to the miscellaneous goods stores in the Dong Khoi area, and you can find many souvenir goods that can be bought with a single coin.

A wide variety of sweets & alcohol! Vesta’s food souvenirs

In the center of the 1st floor, there is a food souvenir area selling sweets and alcohol. Although the space is not as large as the miscellaneous goods section, popular items are available, and of course, a full lineup of YUGOC’s sweet souvenirs is also stocked.

YUGOC’s new product, the traditional Vietnamese sweet “Vina Crepe”, is also available. In addition, unheated raw honey and rare garlic-flavored cashew nuts are also on display.

They are also sold at Store 2, but the main store here has a wider variety in its lineup.

YUGOC’s liquor is also recommended! In-store sales are rare

Liquor is not sold in regular souvenir shops due to licensing issues. Since Vesta has properly obtained a license, they also sell YUGOC’s two types of liquor.

Dragon fruit liquor has an alcohol content of 8% and can be drunk like a cocktail. Coconut liquor has a high alcohol content of 25%, making it the perfect souvenir for alcohol lovers. Both have very aromatic flavors compared to other companies, so please try buying them.
